At KiDS NEED MoRE, we aim to build a strong, supportive community that brings joy, creates meaningful memories, and inspires hope and resilience in children facing serious illness. By joining us for this 5K, you’re doing so much more than running—you’re helping to bring life-changing experiences to children with cancer and their families. Your participation supports programs that offer laughter, friendship, and moments of pure joy amid incredibly tough journeys. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month—a time to honor and uplift the children and families affected by pediatric cancer. Every step you take helps raise awareness and provides direct support to our flagship program, Camp Adventure. Camp Adventure is a free, week-long sleepaway camp founded in 1990 for children ages 6–18 who are coping with cancer, along with their siblings. Older campers (ages 17–18) have the opportunity to grow as mentors through our Leader-in-Training program. More than just a camp, it’s a community where kids can be kids, surrounded by love, support, and their “Camp Family.” Thank you for being a part of something truly special.
