We owe you a little honesty.

If you’ve noticed that LIVolunteers hasn’t been posting as often lately, it’s not because we’ve gone quiet, it’s because we’ve been deep in the work.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been rebuilding the platform so it’s easier to use, easier to trust, and more useful for the people who matter most: local nonprofits and everyday volunteers. We want it to feel simple. Clear. Human. Like something that actually helps, instead of adding one more thing to figure out.
That kind of work takes time. And energy. And a lot more trial-and-error than we ever expected. But we believe it’s worth doing right.
We’re not asking for donations. Truly!
If there’s one thing we hope for, it’s this: Please help us spread the word. Tell a friend. Tell a nonprofit. Tell someone who’s been wanting to help but didn’t know where to start.
This platform exists because Long Island shows up for each other. We’re just trying to build a better way for that showing-up to happen.
Thank you for your patience. Thank you for being here.
We’ll be back soon--- better, clearer, and ready to serve. 💛
Very Truly Yours,
Billy Chu, Founder
