The CBIZ Workplace Challenge is a 3.5-mile run-walk for charity and Long Island's largest office picnic, which has raised more than $1.4 million for charity since its inception. All Long Island businesses, governmental agencies and not-for-profit organizations are invited to participate!

This event is the largest sporting participatory event held on Long Island and a lot of fun!

The CBIZ Workplace Challenge succeeds thanks to our volunteers.

Volunteers are needed as early as 9:00 AM for set-up, and throughout the day. You can choose the time that works for you!

Why not bring a spouse, parent, child or friend to volunteer?

It’s a great opportunity to earn community service hours for school!

Location:

Jones Beach State Park, Parking field 5

Available Volunteer Assignments:

• Course guides (starting at 5:30 PM)

• Clean up (starting at 8:00 PM)

• Ice Bag  Packing (4:30 PM on. You can pack ice and run!)

• Finish line guide (6:00 PM on)

• Refreshments (5:00 PM on)

• Split Caller (5:45 PM on)

• Start and Finish Water (5:00 PM on)

• T-Shirt and goody bag distribution (4:00 PM on)

• Water Stops (Multi Shifts)

• etc.

  
  

The event starts at 7:00 PM but there is an enormous amount of work to do prior to the start.
